What you'll do



As a technical Product Owner, you’ll be responsible to lead and support the development and technical delivery requirements, this together with our Journey and Product Owners from the business. You will collaborate with them as key representative from the technology side and make sure the requirements are qualitative and adequate to satisfy our stakeholders. Thereby the key focus lies in meeting the regulatory standards, supporting the product lifecycle and ensuring continuity.


Your other key responsibilities will be:



  • manage and frequently refine the product backlog together with the business product owner and the DevOps team

  • frequent and constructive collaboration with Business and Technology representatives from the Open Banking Programme

  • to ensure that the Open Banking incident fixes and recoveries consider the end-to-end resolutions

  • consult business and technology stakeholders on fit-for-purpose solutions

  • close and transparent collaboration with the DevOps team bringing each other mutual benefits while sharing the product responsibility


The skills you'll need



We’re looking as an experienced technology product owner with a strong technical background in digital and web security solutions. You’re a professional technician with experience in IT project and/or application management. You’ll be solution and service oriented, with the ability to take end-to-end responsibility as technical advisor and observer. You will take care of solutions and improvements through to completion ensuring those are qualitative and resilient enough to meet stakeholders requirements. Ideally you’ll have a university degree in software engineering or equivalent in computer science.



You’ll need to speak and write fluently in English, with German being an advantage.



On top of this, you’ll demonstrate:



  • proficiency in software delivery lifecycles including change management using agile and waterfall methodologies

  • hands-on experience in Avaloq core-banking solutions, this ideally backed by knowledge of Restful web service technologies
