Marketing Manager Seedcare (m/f/d) Africa Middle East


We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager Seedcare for Africa Middle East (AME) Business Unit to join our Seedcare team in Basel. This role defines the Seedcare Marketing strategy for AME and drives the implementation. It coordinates the AME Seedcare Portfolio Development Cycle, leads the deployment of Digital tools across the different business areas and supports business areas for campaigns and product launches.


Your responsibilities:   



  • Create future AME Seedcare portfolio in line with evolving business needs and manage portfolio projects with local teams.

  • Lead AME Seedcare Marketing activities at Business Unit and Country events.

  • Shape Digital strategy and digital database for AME Seedcare including new portfolio App and virtual events.

  • Validate pricing among the Business Areas and set value sharing strategies with seed companies and Syngenta distributors.

  • Coach Seedcare team to enable Marketing & Sales Excellence skills implementation for AME Seedcare.

  • Structure a Sustainability strategy for Seedcare in AME.

  • Be a “bridge” and ensure connectivity between Business Areas and Regional/Global Seedcare through sharing best practices and management of EAME Seedcare projects.

  • Active member of the AME Seedcare Leadership Team and the AME Crop Protection Portfolio team, contribute to the future of the AME Seedcare 5-year strategy.

 

Qualifications

 

What are we looking for:



  • Degree in Marketing including 3-5 years’ marketing experience working in the field of Seedcare/crop protection/seeds.

  • Marketing and Sales Excellence including Market/Product/Promotion/Price/Place.

  • Experience in New Product Introduction, knowhow of seed market including in depth understanding of seed treatment, crop agronomy and pest control practices. Familiar with Seedcare portfolio.

  • Experience in initiating, leading and managing projects within a cross-functional environment.

  • Creative thinker with good influencing and communication skills.

  • Understanding of AME dynamics would be an advantage.

  • Fluency in English required, French and/or Arabic desired.
