Job Description


Our company is looking for a dynamic, hands on (“get it done”) team player that has broad operational knowledge and a drive to continuously seek improvement using the latest digital capabilities.  To be successful in this role you will be fact and data science driven, using analytics to seek out and pursue/deliver value creation.


The Inventory Compliance Specialist is a member of the Inventory & Compliance Team and will be in charge for the oversight of Inventory compliance to ensure compliant Supply throughout the companies network of sites, markets and the various partners.


In this role you will drive, through analytics and data science, continuous improvement in terms of cost, process and system deploying digital capabilities where possible to create a competitive edge. The Inventory Compliance Specialist ensures adherence to Discard and Compliance processes and that our internal governance is set up in a way that drives value for the company portfolio and is responsible for Inventory Reconciliation, Inventory of Questionable Value (IQV) and Compliance related activities within the Planning organization.



  • Inventory Compliance Management


  • Execute the SOX Compliance controls of IQV and Inventory Reconciliation in EMEA Hub providing an analytical and supportive role for Planning Hub to ensure compliance.


  • Provide support to the main Distribution Centers in EMEA on discard processes and collaborate with End-to-end planners.


  • Provide support to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at risk mitigation in planning or reporting on risk inventory


  • Execute the transactional processes in SAP to support the inventory movements through trade plants in EMEA Region


  • Support requests for ad-hoc analytics to support senior management decision making.


  • Support coordination of SCM Planning Hub related SOX Audit preparations and drive the business to a state of Permanent Inspection Readiness.



Professional education and skills


Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related business concentration (Supply Chain, or equivalent) required


  • APICS CPIM or CSCMP certification is an advantage


  • Internal Auditing and Compliance experience preferable


  • Lean Six Sigma certification, preferable advance certification


  • Change Management qualification is an advantage



Skills Required:



  • Minimum 3-year experience, preferably in pharmaceutical environment


  • Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes.


  • Strong English communication skills written and verbally


  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills


  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate, collaborate and influence


  • Capable of influencing and working collaboratively with senior stakeholders


  • SAP and MS Office experience (with strong Excel skills) are preferred

  • To proactively recognize and overcome potential barriers that may hinder cross-boundary initiatives


  • To be able to self-manage and manage upwards effectively
