In this strategic global role you will lead the assessment, recommendation and roll-out key brand transformation projects in the brand portfolio of Johnson Controls. This will include brand rationalization projects, channel brand strategies, new naming strategies, brand architecture build out and other transformational brand efforts. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic thinker with a consultant mindset, great communicator and consensus driver and a superb tactical expert, capable of engaging at all levels, across businesses and functions within the company.
How you will do itDevelop and showcase a clear brand strategy vision for defined customer segments, across business unit lines
Develop and deploy strategic brand assessment frameworks
Manage annual brand strategy reviews & change plans
Lead the assessment, strategic recommendation as well as reviews, sign-off and execution of global brand rationalization strategies
Assess and redefine channel brand strategies with clear understanding of opportunities, risks and revenue impact
Explore defined new brand strategy opportunities aligned with enterprise strategy goals
Develop, visualize and sell-in brand transformation goals
Develop new, customer-centric brand architecture strategies
Define regular cadence opportunities and threats insights & strategic recommendations from market assessments including competitor and market analysis
Communicate brand strategies to external and internal stakeholders
Proactively evaluate and propose changes and additions to brand portfolio based on changing market conditions and opportunities
Lead research projects related to brand transformation strategies
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related curriculum
Minimum of 8 years of progressive marketing, brand, or related experience in a similar field
Excellent written and spoken English language skills
Demonstrated track record of strong leadership
Excellent communication skills and creativity are critical
Must be able to collaborate in a matrix environment to effectively balance Regional and functional priorities for win-win results
Ability to collaborate and work internationally
