Head of Controlling and Performance Management 100%

As Head of Controlling and Performance Management, you will play an active role in framing the methodology, systems, processes and content of success of our team; you play a crucial role in the strategic and financial development of Vontobel by providing value added analyses and insights, and in putting the required infrastructure.

We are looking for a Head of Controlling and Performance Management in Zurich with direct reporting line to our CFO.

Your opportunity

• Leadership of global controlling and performance management


• Attract, develop and retain top people to work in the team, with a diverse background


• Responsibility for expanding and running an MIS, a product, client, channel profitability calculation and expanding the capital management reporting; managing budgeting and planning process


• Evolution of technical and data infrastructure, integration of fragmented tools onto cloud and deployment of modern automation tools


• Supporting the CFO in ad hoc analyses to support the strategic development of the firm


• Oversight of intracompany hard cost transfer


• Support semiannual financial reporting


• Develop insights into key value drivers, their development, prediction and controlling


• Provide regular benchmarking to provide insights into relative development

 

You bring

• University degree or equivalent in Management Accounting, Finance or similar applied quantitative sciences



• Profound experience in Controlling in Asset Management, Wealth Management and Banking


• Experience in leading/overseeing technology and data projects


• Proven leadership track record, having run teams in a global organization; ability to build and manage high performing teams


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Strategic, forward looking thinking combined with can do/hands on attitude


• Strong stakeholder management skills


• Willingness and drive to go the extra mile


• Mental flexibility, creativity and sound judgment


• Excellent English and a sufficient level of German
