Job summary

We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership and analytical skills to head the Finance & Analysis team. The role involves supporting the Executive Management of the Bank in analysis of the Bank’s financial position and performance, asset and liability management („ALM“), financial planning and budgeting as well as on-going Finance & Analysis function development. The position reports to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

Main tasks and responsibilities

MIS:

• Responsible for periodic analysis of the Bank’s financial position and performance and regular reporting to the Executive Management Board and the Board of Directors


• Periodic analysis and reporting on financial results of the Bank’s business units (profit centers)

Planning:

• Responsible for the annual Financial and Capital planning process, setting of KPIs for the business units and monitoring of the Bank’s performance against the plan


• Responsible for the tactical financial planning process with rolling 3-months horizon

ALM:

• Pro-active recommendations on balance sheet structure


• Funds transfer pricing methodology and execution


• Drive further development in the ALM area


• Leading role in steering of the Asset and liability committee („ALCO“) agenda, responsible for the analytical content of the agenda

Team:

• Lead and develop a team of 4 experienced professionals (including Head)

Required Experience/Skills/Qualification

• Swiss / EU passport or valid Swiss work permit


• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or similar quantitative background, CFA/ACCA qualification, MBA is an advantage


• At least 3 years‘ experience in a leadership role in Finance function of an international bank or financial institution


• Experience in successful reporting or automation project implementations is a plus


• Strong organizational, project and time management skills


• Self-discipline, motivation, initiative


• Fluent English, German is an advantage
