DCAF – Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance is dedicated to improving the security of states and their people within a framework of democratic governance, the rule of law, and respect for human rights. DCAF contributes to making peace and development more sustainable by assisting partner states and international actors supporting these states, to improve the governance of their security sector through inclusive and participatory reforms. For our Operations Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Division, we are looking for a highly dedicated and dynamic individual to be our next:
PROJECT ASSISTANT – WEB & COMMUNICATION (100 %)
Location: Geneva
Starting date: January 2021
Duration: One-year contract, renewal subject to availability of funds
The role
The Project Assistant, as specified under these terms of reference, shall be a key resource and point of contact for the day-to-day supervision of DCAF OPMENA’s online projects and presence for the duration of the contract. The Project Assistant will report to the Head of North Africa Desk and the Head of Middle East Desk and will provide support to the OPMENA Division.
