VISUAL MERCHANDISER


Job description


Your primary responsibility is to create an enjoyable, easy shopping experience for the customers. The presentation of the watches is changed regularly, with themes that can be dictated by the seasonal topics and celebrations or current fashions and trends. You also provide support to the markets on how to follow our guidelines and develop the spirit of SWATCH across the world.


Typical activities include:



  • Create visual concepts for international in-store communication connected to all product launches,

  • Develop international window decoration campaigns, including the testing phase and implementation guidance,

  • Constantly update all standard and generic graphics dedicated to our various distribution channels,

  • Prepare visual merchandising guidelines assigned to a product or collection launch and insure the respect of these guidelines during the implementation phase assisting local markets requests and needs,

  • Participate in the creation & development of new long-term materials and specific displays including the follow-up of the production with suppliers and procurement team,

  • Coordinate any creative or design visual merchandising projects with internal and external resources,

  • Provide support in exhibition set-up for internal meetings, fairs, events and special projects including project development, organization, coordination, decoration on site,

  • Facilitate merchandising workshops and training sessions presentation when necessary


Profile


We are looking for a highly flexible, committed and proactive team player with creative, organizational skills and a hands-on attitude, as well as excellent communication skills.


Professional requirements



  • Degree in Visual Communications (Graphic Design / Interior Design / Visual Merchandising)

  • Experience in visual merchandising, especially in a fast-moving international retail environment and in-store communication. Watches, fashion or accessories is a plus. Design agency is also welcome.

  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe CC Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and good understanding of the 2D/3D space; SketchUp or AutoCAD will be a plus.

  • Acute visual awareness, visual flair for contemporary & attractive design solutions

  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in order to maintain deadlines

  • Up-to-date with all current design technologies/trends with good understanding of typography, colour and composition

  • Strong organisational and methodical skills

  • Ability to lead a project from start to the realisation

  • Enjoying and working well in a team. Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a larger company


Languages


Bilangual German/English or French/English. Every other language is an asset.
