Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division is looking for an


Global HR Business Partner / Division HR Manager - Abbott EPD


at the global EPD Headquarter in Basel - Allschwil.


We are looking for an individual keen to develop and expand their existing HR capabilities & experience, within the global HR Organization of Abbotts Established Pharmaceuticals Division.  This developmental role, reporting into a Global HR Director, will take full HR Responsibility for a dedicated Global Department, whilst supporting a variety of key HR projects and processes across the Departments of Innovation & Development (R&D), Operations and Quality.


Main Responsibilities
 



  • Act as the key strategic partner to the business, developing HR strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions.

  • Responsible for ensuring the effective “delivery” of HR processes and services. 

  • Responsible for HR results in the business, including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial results.

  • Establishes, builds and maintains strong relationships with key HR partners from all Practice Areas and Service Centers to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs; includes relationship management, leadership, HR roles/responsibilities, and service delivery commitments.

  • Work to develop, update, implement, and communicate all aspects of Performance Excellence to include performance assessments, growth planning, career development and succession/developmental moves

  • Be the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to the business and help manage the collective reputation of the HR organization as a whole.

  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and practices


   


Your profile:
 


We are looking for talented, mid-career HR Professionals ready to take the next step for a Headquarter / Global Role and develop into an HR Director position over course of the next years.
 



  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) or Master’s Degree in HR, Psychology, Business or

  • At least 5+ years of experience in multi organizational HR Role within a big corporation with working knowledge of all HR functional areas

  • International HR Experience supporting R&D or Manufacturing / Operations Departments.

  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational development principles

  • Strong Project Management and Strategy Development Skills

  • Have credibility with Sr. Management to maximize successful outcomes

  • Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills

  • Very good English language skills are required, any other language would be an asset
