Purpose


The Regional Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator reports to the Richemont Europe Physical Security, Health & Safety and Building & Office Services Director. The position is based in Meyrin (Geneva), within our ‘Campus Genevois de Haute Horlogerie’.


 


Your main missions consist of ensuring the implementation of health and safety standards across Richemont Europe markets in coordination with consultants or local management and focusing on people safety in boutiques, warehouses, small repair shops and office buildings.


 


The HSE Coordinator shall be the safety technical expert for the region. To be effective you must be familiar with European HSE standards, be capable of gathering and interpreting information for various countries, liaise with contractors and HSE consultants and overall have a solutions people focused mind-set for all HSE topics.


 


You will be successful in the role by



  • Coordinating and implementing annual HSE planning, performance measurement and reporting at a region level

  • Developing and maintaining contemporary and compliant HSE policies, procedures, training, and other resources in line with Group and Region objectives

  • Monitoring, maintaining and reporting on safety and compliance measures in coordination with market HSE managers

  • Coordinating Region wide HSE incident reporting and investigation framework and providing regular reports to management

  • Coordinating internal / external HSE audits and developing plans to actioN

  • Ensuring the HSE policy register is monitored, reviewed and properly addressed

  • Providing specialized expert advice to management and staff

  • Providing input into the development of departmental business and strategic plans related to HSE


 


 Your invaluable skills we are looking for



  • You have a minimum of 5-7 years HSE experience mostly focused on work place safety, ergonomics, and office environments with HSE certifications and/or diplomas

  • You are fluent in French & English with solid written and oral communication skills (any additional language is a plus)

  • You are an expert of Microsoft Office

  • You have an experience in writing comprehensive operating procedures, policies, incident, and investigation reports

  • Knowledge of rules and regulations governing HSE, with comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, API, and ANSI standards and recommended practices have no secret for you

  • You have the ability to lead and cross-manage others effectively, with attention to different cultures, knowledge levels and reporting lines
