Assistant Professorship in Economics of Economic and Social Inequality
The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for an Assistant Professorship in Economics of Economic and Social Inequality starting September 2021.
Applicants should have a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. Successful candidates for Assistant Professorships are appointed to three-year contracts, renewable once, with the possibility of evaluation for tenure after six years.
The position is part of the University's Research Priority Program "Equality of Opportunity", which studies the causes and consequences of economic and social inequalities in developed economies. Candidates should have an excellent track record of academic achievements in a related research field such as labor economics, public economics, economics of education, gender economics, health economics, or macroeconomics.
