Group Quality Manager / Group Welding Engineer (f/m)


In this diversified role you will be located in our Headquarters in Bulach. Due to the nature of your role you will be in continuous contact with all our entities around the world on regular basis. You will be our internal key expert regarding all welding topics. In the position you will also define group wide standards and manage all quality related processes.


Responsibilities include



  • Key expert for all internal welding issues, from design to customer claims


  • Assurance of group wide welding supervision


  • Maintenance of the Quality- and Environment Management System according to ISO 9001


  • Planning, coordinating and conducting internal system-, process- and product audits


  • Supporting the planning, coordinating and conducting supplier audits for products and services


  • Supporting international customer audits


  • Coordinating sales, project management and production on non-compliance management


  • Continuous review and development of quality specifications and technical documents


  • Support in customer projects and in general trouble shooting


  • Development of ideas for the improvement of our Integrated Management System


  • Monitoring of important Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


  • Preparation and conduction of Quality trainings



Job requirements



  • Degree in Engineering (FH, ETH)


  • 5 years of experience in a similar position with proven track record of impact and achievements


  • Solid QA education


  • Proven welding know how and experience


  • Corrosion protection know how is a plus


  • Advanced IT application skills


  • Full proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)


  • Self-motivated hands on mentality to drive the completion of tasks


  • Entrepreneurial, self-organised, proactive and well-structured person


  • Ability to collaborate successfully with various stakeholders on different hierarchical levels


  • Experience in dealing with people from different cultural backgrounds


  • Willingness to undertake business trips
