Job Description


Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation-driven company that will inspire you and empower you to shine? Join us as a DE&I Lead Switzerland- at our Zurich office.


Objectives:



  • Develop, lead & support local Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategies and programs.

  • Provide subject matter expertise.

  • Measure and forecast DE&I metrics.

  • Research on trends and partner with external networks & other companies.

  • Partner with Takeda’s global HR expertise teams to ensure alignment.


Accountabilities:



  • Drive the development of DE&I priorities, programs and reporting processes across Takeda’s businesses in Switzerland.

  • Participate in external DE&I activities and events consistent with Takeda’s DE&I Strategy.

  • Identify the diversity needs in Switzerland, own the development of key programs that help achieve measurable results and long-term behaviour change by making use of both internal and external resources.

  • Serve as subject matter expert and liaison for Business and HR Leaders in developing context-specific strategies and operating plans for attracting/developing/engaging & retaining diverse talents.

  • Partner with Communications to regularly communicate on DE&I initiatives, events and progress in Switzerland.

  • Create awareness, energy and enthusiasm in the organization for DE&I and reinforce existing commitments to create a growing sense of belonging.

  • Collaborate with other People Advisory Groups (Japan & US) to share DE&I best practices and align programs and practices when applicable.

  • Design company policies that reinforce diversity in the workplace, address all kinds of harassment and protect minority groups and women.

  • Support and train hiring managers and HR staff on how to select, manage, evaluate and retain diverse employees.

  • Measure and forecast DE&I metrics.

  • Research and identify external trends and best practices.


Education, Behavioral Competencies and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

  • 7+ years experience in HR, preferably as a Business Partner or as a Learning & Development Specialist.

  • Proven leadership in Diversity & Inclusion required.

  • Very good knowledge of organisational trends.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and project management skills.

  • Ability to lead, inspire, and get results from non-employee consultants, contractors, and vendors.

  • Ability to work effectively across functions and with colleagues at all levels within and outside of Human Resources.

  • Demonstrated professionalism under stress and the ability to prioritize and organize effectively with planned and unplanned projects and requests

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Power Point.

  • Excellent German, proficiency in English.
