Data Tech Lead - Pharma International Data and Analytics Chapter

Your Responsibilities:



  • Conduct and structure data analysis, profiling

  • Responsible for Data Cleansing & Standardization Process to understand rules for match/merge, DQ and hierarchy management


  • Responsible for interacting with end-users to understand and implement business /functional requirements


  • Assist with addressing ad hoc data issues as these arise from various data users across Commercial or other functions within Roche


  • Participate in various data or systems projects, as assigned; working with a host of internal customers, partners, and stakeholders


  • Collaborate to define to-be master data model (customer and product) and related scope together with the Affiliate


  • Drive comparison of local data source against global values & identifying local needs


  • Supervise data migration progress and suggest corrective actions whenever needed 


  • Liaise with the partner responsible for data load (IQVIA) to ensure efficient collaboration and secure quality of data migrated into MDM/OM systems


  • Support Data Business Analyst to ensure Affiliate sign-offs on migrated master data


  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of routine and ad hoc duties so that completion complies with all Roche IT protocols, procedures, standards and other relevant business requirements



Qualifications and Experience that will help you to be successful:



  • Bachelor's Degree (computer science, engineering or other technical disciplines are a plus)


  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred


  • Demonstrated experience in Master Data Management in Pharma Commercial and process flows


  • Hands-on experience with MDM products like Reltio


  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis, profiling,  data cleansing & standardization Process to understand rules for match/merge, DQ and hierarchy management


  • Demonstrated experience working with technical teams across the full software development life cycle in an integrated platform


  • Experience managing data projects and data vendors in the pharmaceutical or similar industries


  • Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations 


  • Previous experience in other functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry is strongly preferred, e.g., commercial operations, field sales or sales management, field sales operations, field account management, product marketing, market planning, strategic planning, etc.




 


Preferred Skills/Abilities:



  • Understanding of various MDM domains like Customer, Product and their data models


  • Understanding of Data Integration and Hierarchy Management


  • Excellence in SQL is a must 


  • Prepare STM and access impact to ecosystem before onboarding data source


  • Familiarity with Sales/Field Alignment process and CRM for sales/Medical team    


  • Demonstrable project management skills: proven ability to manage multiple tasks to the conclusion, on time, and without compromise to the quality of work output


  • Strong analytical capabilities and skills, including business and financial acumen sufficient for analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, as well as the ability to extrapolate meaning from such analyses


  • Excellent problem-solving skills, details oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy 


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with Senior Leadership


  • Flexibility to attend meetings outside “standard” working hours
