We’re on a mission to bring the benefits of our life-changing CGM systems to even more patients around the world. That is why we’re looking for a Market Access Manager to help us open up new markets across the EMEA region.


 


What is involved?
Our Market Access team are responsible for understanding and satisfying the market access/funding/reimbursement requirements in each country. They research and conduct analysis of the target markets in terms of reimbursement and funding, existing and emerging payer policies, , competitive landscape, trends, pricing, contracting strategies, and any potential barriers to provider and patient access. They provide information and support to influence key opinion leaders, pertaining to improved outcomes and public policy matters.



As a Market Access Manager, you will be an integral part of the EMEA market access team and participate in EMEA wide strategy development and projects. You will also be responsible for developing, and overseeing implementation of, market access strategies and tactics for the Netherlands, Belgium and France, manage potential HTA submissions and deliver stakeholder engagement strategies and tactics to drive the funding and uptake of Dexcom products. You will be working closely with the Global and International Access teams to establish appropriate evidence and documentation including health economic data and arguments to be used for reimbursement and product positioning, and communication to and with third party payers, government entities and other market access partners, e.g. Government Affairs.

What you’ll need:



  • Education and experience in a relevant field, e.g. health economics, health policy, public health

  • Knowledge of market access for diabetes products or related medical devices

  • Experience with HTA submission in larger European markets would be useful 

  • Business/marketing or sales experience and the ability to link this insight to funding and reimbursement in-market

  • Fluency in English and Dutch/French

  • Experience of working and contributing within in a matrix organisation, including global and national MA teams

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization


 


Functional Description: Professional Individual Contributor


Supports activities for strategic plans and opportunities to open markets for new products. Researches and conducts analysis of the market in terms of coverage and reimbursement, existing and emerging payer policies, competitive landscape, trends, pricing, contracting strategies, potential barriers to provider and patient access. Provides information and support to influence key opinion leaders, pertaining to improved outcomes and public policy matters.


 


Experience and Education Requirements:



  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience. At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.


 


Travel Required:



  • 25 to 50%

  • Having wide-ranging experience and uses professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

  • Possesses knowledge of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.

  • Viewed as expert in the field within the Function.
