Sales Development Representative Sports Medicine 100%


The Sales Development Representative is responsible for developing new business with customers in a defined geography for a defined business. He/she plans and executes account acquisition strategy together with the Sales Manager, in accordance with company strategy and full alignment and collaboration with EMEA, DACH and local organization.


Your main responsibilities


  • Defines Territory and Account planning in his/her Region

  • Ensures new opportunity funnel management in his/her Region, by customer and by product

  • Develops sales & marketing strategies to support sales growth

  • Executes acquisition projects: Identify and addresses the different decision makers, presents the right solution/products and organize trainings

  • Ensures account follow-up for ramp-up phase

  • Expected Areas of Competence

  • Ability to have 360 view and leverage any product opportunity to penetrate a new account, incl. Zimmer Biomet Connect solutions and Robotics


Your Qualifications and Experience


  • Degree in sales management, business administration, or 5-8 year’s business experience

  • Strong knowledge in Sports Medicine, with knowledge of competitor’s products and strategies

  • Proven track record in the health care sector, with exceptional capabilities to drive sales

  • Strong networking capabilities and sound business acumen to identify, plan and execute on sales opportunities

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Sales drive with a winning attitude; independent, reliable, responsible, focused, loyal and willing to learn.

  • Demonstrates characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities

  • Business fluency in German and English. Other languages (French, Italian) would be an asset


Travel Requirements


This dynamic job position requires a willingness to travel (up to 70%).
