Your role:


 


As the On-site Sales Representative for Novartis, you play a critical role in growing the relationship with one of our key customers and supporting our customer focused strategy. In coordination with the key account manager (KAM), you will execute regular customer visits, handle administrative tasks like quote requests and backorder tracking, and help implement an account specific strategy. You will report to the KAM on a daily basis to ensure a consistent customer experience and alignment of sales activities.  Through close contact with end users, you will help understand the customer’s business needs, organizational structure, key decision makers and identify potential new business opportunities. By communicating efficiently with the extended sales team and colleagues from other business units you will share customer experience and support customer needs.


 


The on-site sales representative reports to the key account manager within the local pharmaceutical sales organization. The position focuses on a select number of accounts and is located in or near Basel in Switzerland. The on-site sales representative will work from home or in an office located on-site in the main account.


 


 


 


Who you are:



  • You have a diploma or degree in life science

  • Sales experience within a similar industry is a plus

  • You are customer service oriented  with good relationship building and presentation skills

  • Your are self-motivated and able to prioritize with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • You like working autonomously and collaboratively

  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team

  • You are fluent in English and German, French is a plus
