Mission:


The Senior Communications Lead supports the communication team in implementing project-based ways of working through planning, coordinating and managing resources for the Group’s communications activities. He / she creates and improves guidelines and processes to ensure smooth operations and to enable collaboration, alignment and transparency between Group COM, its disciplines and the global Business Units. Additionally, The Senior Communications Lead works with the Head of Strategic Communications Planning & Intelligence to drive COM intelligence-relevant initiatives such as data and measurement activities that allow the communications team to gage its impact and provide insights that help develop relevant strategy and initiatives. This role collaborates closely with communications stakeholders worldwide to plan metrics, track and analyze media activity and deliver detailed insight reports.


Main responsibilities:


Project management for strategic initiatives:



  • Manage communication projects and initiatives, incl. team members, workstreams, materials and channels

  • Develop 360-degree communication plans to ensure activation of projects and initiatives, including defining and mapping targeted stakeholders, identifying communications tactics and determining materials and communications channels for the initiative

  • Collect and consolidate necessary input for the defined materials, through developing consistent information and knowledge exchange between relevant stakeholders

  • Steer external agencies, providers and other third parties to ensure delivery in an efficient and timely manner


Strategic planning:



  • Support identification of communication opportunities based on defined communication strategy

  • Coordinate and link different communication initiatives and activities to ensure alignment and to maximize impact

  • Support definition of required resources and capacities (e.g., people, budgets, timings)

  • Support project workstreams, including development of the processes, alignment routines and roles and responsibilities

  • Select outcome-focused metrics to track progress in strategy implementation


Data and analytics management:



  • Manage data and analysis for key communications insights platforms.

  • Manage data optimization specialists to ensure the integrity of all data used for measurements and insights

  • Oversee the analysis completed by agencies and internal team members

  • Create and manage the development of queries aligned with business priorities

  • Develop overall project reporting, analysis, and review

  • Collaborate with Global COM Community to develop reports and analysis that align to business priorities and market dynamics

  • Create media reports and analysis for key events, launches and announcements, meeting short-term deadlines

 

Qualifications

 

Requirements:



  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Mandarin is a strong plus

  • Advanced University degree (e.g. Masters) in Business Administration or Marketing Communication

  • +5 years of experience in a relevant area of expertise

  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organisation

  • Strong intercultural skills and international work experience

  • If possible Availability to travel up to 20%
