ICT System Administrator (m/w/d)


You will maintain and manage second line support including backend services and infrastructure.

Together with your team you provide professional project based system service for both internal and external requests.

After an individualised training session you will become part of the mageba group ICT team, a varied, challenging but exciting range of tasks awaits you.


Main Tasks / Responsibilities



  • Responsible for our worldwide ICT Server backend infrastructure


  • Manage for 2nd level day-to-day support activities and escalation point for the Servicedesk requests


  • Proactive participation in worldwide group ICT projects


  • Provide functional, technical and administration 2nd level support


  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools


  • Implementation of ICT projects, concepts and guidelines


  • Proven experience in competent service, support, advice and supervision of the Servicedesk


  • Identify, analyse and solve Server hardware and software issues


  • Maintain all backend business services, solutions and infrastructure both on-perm and off-perm including ERP infrastructure



Education / Requirements



  • Education/training in computer science or higher education


  • At least 3 years of experience as an ICT System Administrator and 2nd level support of ICT infrastructure


  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DFSR, Exchange…etc


  • Working knowhow with Microsoft System Centre Family SCCM, SCOM


  • Hands-on experience in the operation, handling and maintenance of Microsoft cloud products (O365, Azure, SharePoint and other)


  • ITIL knowledge in incident/service requests and change management


  • General knowledge of other tools: network technology (Cisco Meraki), server backup (Veeam) and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware vSphere)


  • A team player with an open-minded, communicative and proactive personality with focus to customer orientation


  • Very good German and English skills (verbal, written)
