Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility
The Transition Management Office (TMO) organization is responsible for managing the transition activities associated with our company's Standup including monitoring and tracking performance of our company's stand-up, coordinating across all TMO leads across our company's Manufacturing & Supply (OMS) and the Global TMO, identifying and remediating gaps, supporting the transition of Interim Operating Models to the final state, tracking performance of Transition Services Agreement (TSA) services from our company and TSA services from company to company and leadings/monitoring TSA exit strategies. The TMO Management Support Lead will work across OMS to ensure the successful standup of the company and will be a key contact for our company's TMO and lead key global projects for OMS associated with the standup and transition.
Primary Activities
Support the TMO governance structures for the OMS organization to organize work associated with the standup of our company and ensure completed per plan.
Partner with Global TMO and additional functions/above-site roles to quickly identify risks/issues associated with OMS and work to resolve.
Ensure timely and effective upward communication (OMS leadership) and downward communication (e.g. global sites, functions, CMOs) related to our company's stand-up
Establish and maintain strong working relationship across our company's Manufacturing & Supply leadership and site leadership.
Collaborate with counterparts at our company to ensure successful disentanglement, sharing risks and partnering to address issues between the companies.
Responsible for personally leading one or more OMS strategy projects. Collaborate on cross-company projects or process improvement initiatives.
Education:
BA/BS degree (Hard Sciences, Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management)
Experience and Skills:
Proven leadership skills with at least 10 years of experience spanning both strategic and operations roles
Knowledge of regulatory / industry requirements to work in a tightly regulated environment
Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels (executive, customer, individual contributor) as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally
Strong business acumen and analytical skills, and the ability to identify and escalate scenarios that may represent risk exposures for the company
Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (pharmaceutical experience preferred)
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Broad experience in pharma, food or specialty chemical products
Demonstrated experience in coordinating large, complex, cross functional projects
Ability to lead a cross functional and globally dispersed team and excel in influencing with informal authority
Identify & drive solutions in a complex, ambiguous environment and the ability to drive change and transform the business
