To ensure that we continue to fulfill this task in the future, we are seeking a/an:

Application Owner (for Aeronautical Information Management)

YOUR TASK

• Coordinate all activities concerning a specific change/project, between people in the area of maintenance, end users or its representatives, software developers and suppliers


• Develop and execute software verification plans and system quality assurance procedures


• Actively participate in the development of processes. Identify and recommend process improvements


• Ensure that the application meets skyguide quality, safety and regulatory requirements by following the related procedures and producing and/or maintaining the related artefacts


• Actively provide guidance and governance by ensuring the solution is consistent, scalable, maintainable and harmonized


• Provide onsite support in preventive and corrective maintenance task/System and User Acceptance Testing


• Investigate technical incidents and ensure 3rd level maintenance support in cooperation with the maintenance and engineering staff, and escalate as necessary to third-parties

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor degree, master degree or equivalent in an engineering education or a background in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM)


• Minimum 7 years experience in software development activities


• Ability to quickly understand business needs and to take initiatives and decisions


• Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to follow a modern agile approach


• Sound experience in project and application management, agile development with external suppliers, as well as in testing and deployment


• Team spirit with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills


• Mother tongue German, good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
