For our Reception, we are looking for an experienced:

Receptionist - Assistant Front Desk (M/F) 50% 


Your tasks



  • Organization of the front desk and operation of the switchboard in German, English and French

  • Responsible for welcoming and the support of external customers and visitors at the front desk and the related administrational tasks and access control as well as the distribution of public transport tickets, taxi vouchers, etc.

  • Assist Basilea’s Facility Management and General Services Department in the processing of incoming and outgoing mail, including courier transfers in cooperation with Facility Management

  • Order and manage the entire office equipment, beverages and catering for meetings

  • Maintaining the procedures regarding the messaging system for Pharmacovigilance

  • Control of restaurant invoices and lunch checks

  • Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and service quality

  • Maintain a neat and clean work environment and professional appearance

 

Your profile



  • Commercial apprenticeship (KV) or similar qualification in a service sector with direct customer contact e.g. travel industry, hotel with work experience at a reception desk

  • Very good language skills in German and English, oral knowledge of French is beneficial

  • Ability to work independent and team player with an open, friendly nature, enjoying dealing with people

  • High service and customer orientation as well excellent communication skills at different levels, discretion and flexibility are required

  • Good Office user skills (Word, Excel etc)

  • Working schedule: job-sharing, Monday to Friday afternoon, availability to work 100% for vacation replacements and sick-leave replacements
