Overview

The candidate will be joining a dynamic team of pluridiciplinare people within Andrew Alliance which is a Waters company. Our aim is to advance science by working with scientists to create a new class of easy-to-use robots and connected devices that take repeatability, performance and efficiency of laboratory experiments to the level required by 21st century biology.

Responsibilities

• To interpret design requirements and produce engineering data for Andrew Alliance products


• To structure this data within SAP to allow the creation of a bills of material, process descriptions and operating procedures suitable for sub-contract manufacture of the products


• To perform engineering change control for product lifecycle management and as necessary to improve product quality


• To liaise with suppliers to improve and / or gain knowledge of manufacturing techniques and cost-effective manufacture


• Identify and produce meaningful metrics relating to area of responsibility


• Adhere to Waters Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education:

A qualification in an Engineering / Science subject OR relevant experience in an Engineering / Science related function.

 

Experience:

Knowledge of CAD required
MRP system experience required, SAP preferred

 

Competencies:

Good written and oral communication skills in English are required and preferably in French as well
Must be able to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organisation.
