Country Human Resource Director (Switzerland)



- Main responsibilities will be to provide HR leadership as member of the site Management Team, acting as an HR Business Partner and Member of the Bombardier Transportation Switzerland Management Team and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Bombardier Transportation Pension Fund with overall responsibility for all people-related issues:

- Provide the organization with consistent, competitive and high quality HR services and support in all areas of HR and organizational development

- Define and implement a well formulated divisional HR strategy, which is well aligned with the overall business strategy and the most important organizational and employee needs

- Ensure that HR plans and strategy deliver the required impact and influence on the organization's culture, behaviour and performance

- Personally lead critical organizational and employee-related projects that deliver the required change and impact, on time and within budget

- Responsible for global leadership and management development, as well as talent management initiatives

- Drive cultural change and facilitate teamwork as major operative focus points

- Manage Employee relations on a Divisional level, maintain good Union relations and advise both divisional Management and team members on Labour related issues

- Covers all HR employer topics internally and externally to comply with labour laws, responsible for all HR BT CH regulations, is handling contacts with Unions and Authorities and negotiations with Workers Councils incl. HR Communications

- Lead HR team of 5-10 people and work in close cooperation with regional HR Shared Service Organisation



Qualifications



Qualifications& Experience



- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an HR Management role within a complex, multinational environment

- Excellent knowledge of Swiss regulations and laws with respects to Employee and Labour related issues

- Site HR and Country HR experience

- Business minded personality with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to resolve different issues and create win-win scenarios; motivate and influence others to do the same.

- You will possess the ability to think in both strategic terms, but also to act proactively in making things happen

- Readiness to manage change processes and drive cultural change

- Flexibility to travel (approximately 30%)

- Excellent German and English language skills; French an advantage

- Additionally you will be involved in and support Services by the Shared Services Organisation in collaboration with Line & Hiring Manager and local HR Business Partner:

- Recruitment

- Hiring Process

- International transfers

- Compensation and Benefits (new hires, contractual adjustments, promotions etc.)

- Advice, support and coaching of line (people) managers

- Talent Management & Development

- Local implementation of global HR policies and strategies

- Change Management process
