Project Manager
Your responsibilities
Establishing of the project order and business case to officially start a project
Elaborating scenarios for product development according to the innovation process
Planning of available budget and full-time equivalents (resources) according to the project roadmap
Execution of projects according to the project roadmap with its gates and launch date
Management/coordination and controlling of a defined quantity of projects belonging together
Conduct of the (global) project team and coordination with the various disciplines from all the involved departments and teams (Operations, Marketing, Quality & Regulatory)
Overall responsibility from project start until launch and making sure to launch the product on schedule underlined by high quality thinking
Development of the projects according to the Medela innovation process using the available methods (FMEA, risk management and systems/requirements engineering)
Ensure the project progress and observing the timeline and cost of mile stones
Organization of project and review meetings on a regular basis and reporting to the corresponding decision-making body
Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements for medical devices during project process
Ensure complete project and product documentation (technical file) until launch
Coordination of the collaboration with suppliers, external engineering companies, partners in plastic technologies, industrial designers, patent attorney, doctors, hospital staff
Your qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering (i.e. mechanical / electrical / systems engineering, information technology) or natural science (i.e. chemistry, biology or similar)
Experience (minimum 5 years) in product development compulsory
Well-found knowledge in project management, further education in project management or business administration desirable
Verbal and written skills in English
Experience in project planning and reporting tools
