  • An exciting role as Risk & Controls Manager, Platform IT in Zurich

  • Provide ongoing management of services to ensure operational risk compliance at a global level for Platform IT

  • Manage monitoring, escalation and reporting of compliance status and provide senior leadership to engage Platform IT on areas of non-compliance

  • Provide feedback on new Directives, attending the Policy Review Board

  • Ensure open Audit items timeously managed to closure

  • Facilitate a program of work to ensure compliance with operational risk policies and procedures 

  • Provide ORM services to drive risk reduction initiatives, activities, and solutions

  • Drive awareness for ORM matters in Platform IT through staff education and trainings

  • Reporting Line to the Platform IT COO 

  • Support the Head of Platform IT on strategic Risk & Controls matters 

  • Foster cross-functional alignment and knowledge exchange

You Offer

 

  • Min. 5 years’ of experience in a large global bank, consulting or financial industry with an university degree or equivalent (and/or MBA or alike)

  • Fundamental understanding of risk and controls processes ideally with a proven legal background

  • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of banking process analysis 

  • Responsibility and independent working practice, showing initiative and high level of reliability and demonstrated ability in problem solving and experienced in Project Management

  • Ability to perform excellent stakeholder management and to establish trusted relationships at senior and top management level, combined with excellent communication skills and ability to foster consensus in decisional processes, also for challenging and complex initiatives

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and great teammate capabilities
