Job description

It would go beyond a regular job advertisement to describe in detail even the most important challenges. However, we will outline those at the stage of the interview.

Your profile

For successful applicants, it is paramount to be familiar with pdf-image reading, and it is of great help if not vital to have some basic understanding of music and musical scores. The key task we are looking for is a digitization of some 20,000 pieces of sheet music. Algorithms will have to be devised to:

  • Classify the pieces into different classes depending on the formatting of music (details will be shared during the interview)

  • Digitize the music (notes as well as breaks) in an efficient way.
