As Release Test Manager, you will ;
– establish new standard based on the existing ATM test strategy to migrate from an application focused and mainly manual testing approach to an end-to-end and automated testing paradigm.
– establish the Release test plans which includes the definition of test objectives and target coverage, identification of applicable test cases and test planning.
– coordinate and follow execution of release testing activities.
– report the results of the test campaigns and give recommendation for the Go/noGo in Production.
– define KPIs to measure and communicate on quality aspects and release test efficiency.
– promote and support the adoption of test automation.
In order to implement the ATM wide test approach the Release Test Manager plans the related activities, coordinates and drives the main actors (Test Leads of the different product teams) in the execution, analysis and reporting of the e2e test campaigns.
Liaises with Release Manager, Solution Architects, Product manager, Product Owners and Test Leads to define the overarching Release Test Plan as well as the end2end test objectives/scenarios.
Accountable to manage the execution of the overall Release Test Plan and support the Test Leads involved with a release to ensure targeted testing coverage is reached.
Accountable for running the end2end release test campaigns.
Contribute to the configuration management of test evidences.
Ensures the incremental evolution of e2e test ware (data sets , scripts, toolset) through successive test campaigns according to DevOps and Test Driven Design (TDD) principles.
Capitalizes on test ware provided by our suppliers and the software factory.
Participates to User Acceptance Test.
– Bachelor or Master degree in computer science
– ISTQB foundation or higher
– Any Agile/Scrum certification
– At least 5 years hands-on experience in test management in an Agile context
– At least 5 years hands-on experience as developer
– Experience in SOA engineering practices and/or in complex system composed by multiple applications
– Strong knowledge about the DevOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes and tools
– Experience applying “Agile at scale” methods
– Experience with modern tools and methodologies for source control, packaging and software release management
– Hands-on experience in test automation with tools like Squish or similar
– Affinity to technical testing methodology and tools like JMeter or similar
– User experience with Polarion, Jira, Confluence or similar
– Willing to learn about ATM business and to develop a strong understanding of the “ATM product”.
– Fluent in English
