We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Modeling and Simulation Scientist (Pharmacometrician) to join our company.


 


Job Responsibilities :


 



  • Support compounds and projects in clinical development with model-based data analysis.

  • Support decision making in clinical development by simulation of scenarios and studies.

  • Contribute to decision making with quantitative assessments of efficacy and safety measures of different doses, dosing regimens, and other relevant variables.

  • Being a champion and advocate for pharmacometrics within the company.

  • Identify opportunities for model-based drug development.

  • Maintain effective communication with clinical teams and clinical pharmacologists.

  • Ensure high quality contributions to drug development.

  • Management of quality and timelines.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and requirements.

  • Sustain scientific competence by establishing familiarity with new scientific developments.

  • Education of colleagues in Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Development about modeling and simulation.


 


Requirements :


 



  • Relevant academic degree (pharmacology, statistics, pharmacometrics, biology).

  • Degree: Preference for PhD, PharmD, maybe MD.

  • Industry: Pharmaceuticals.

  • Experience in modeling and simulation to drug research and development.

  • Good knowledge of drug development and the transition phases (preclinical to Phase I, Phase I to Phase II).

  • Experience with relevant software (Monolix, NONMEM, R/S-PLUS, Berkeley Madonna, WinNonlin, other).

  • Track record of relevant publications.

  • Ability to work with a team.

  • Ability to adapt and respond to change.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of MS office products.

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
