Product Engineer - GIS Asset Collection (w/m/d)

• Driving software workflows for GIS Utilities / Asset Collection including field, office and cloud-based solutions supporting measurement sensor solutions (GNSS, INS and imaging technologies)
  


• Owner of product specifications and quality control, testing and ensuring solutions to achieve Leica Geosystems’ high-quality standards
  


• Being part of a scrum team and being the interface between Product Manager and software developers is something you enjoy 
  


• Engage with strategic partners to drive requirements and workflows supporting integration of positioning solutions
  


• Contribute to the support of existing GIS products
  


• Develop product trainings and workshops and present on events around the world


• Test and analyse GNSS sensors

 

This is you

• You hold a BSc or MSc degree in Geodesy, GIS, Geomatics, Geography or related discipline


• Experience with GIS and Utilities / Asset Collection software and enterprise databases supporting data acquisition projects (ESRI, QGIS)
  


• Strong knowledge of Geodetic concepts and positioning technologies (GNSS, Terrestrial, geodetic reference systems)
  


• Self-managed, independent and able to work in an agile project development environment
  


• Detail oriented with an effective time management and organization skills
  


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  


• Proficient in English (written and spoken), German is a benefit
