Product Engineer (f/m/d) Terrestrial Laser Scanning

This appeals to you



  • Develop a very good understanding of the Reality Capture product portfolio, understand market requirements and translate those into specifications for R&D

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Project Leaders to understand the product road map and the project master planning and the value behind the decisions made with regards to prioritization

  • Being able to gage the value of the product backlog and the consequences of delays

  • Work closely with the software development group on getting the user stories implemented, validate, that implemented features solve the identified market requirements according to the defined use cases

  • To ensure an optimal quality of the software and hardware

  • Conducting test round testing, write and update test plans and clearly describe found defects

 

This is you



  • Relevant university degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering or any other related background

  • Experience with scanning hardware and software

  • Analytical and Organizational Skills – Able to analyse the given restraints and needs for the scheduled workload and timeline and organize the needed tasks in a way that allows for the most valuable outcome

  • Ability to comprehend the market problems that drive the content and timeline of scheduled software tasks and, if needed, reorder tasks accordingly

  • High interest in building strong rapport and relationships with R&D, project core teams, project lead and fellow product owners to gain in-depth understanding of technical challenges and constraints

  • Fluency in English, German nice to have
