Job Description


We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Workplace Lead to join our Global Workplace and Enterprise Services (GWES) European team. The Switzerland based Workplace Lead will be responsible for partnering and collaborating with other business functions and Service Providers to ensure the Workplace aligns with our Workplace Strategy: delivering a safe, productive and stimulating employee experience.


Ensuring our facilities deliver inspiring spaces consistent with modern work practices including Activity Based, Collaboration and Focus, the incumbent will ensure that methodologies, standards and tools are deployed and used consistently.


A natural collaborator, the workplace lead will partner with colleagues globally, sharing best practices, leading and participating on teams, informing and delivering divisional priorities and constantly focusing on bringing value to the enterprise.


Responsibilities include:



  • Relationship management with local leaders and teams, advocating our Workplace Strategy and aligning with local needs.


  • Supporting “Ways of Working” through aligning the vision with the Workplace Experience, communicating and supporting colleagues across the organisation in how they view and use the workplace with a view to drive collaboration, innovation and superior customer experience.


  • Leading office relocation programs, influencing layout and design characteristics in line with activity-based principles and company standards.


  • Being a change champion, supporting GWES initiatives locally and across EMEA including tracking and reporting progress of portfolio projects, highlighting and managing risks as appropriate.


  • Managing Service Delivery though our IFM Partners including performance management through KPI measurement and overall scorecard performance.


  • Managing and ensuring key data and information is accurate and up to date, enabling data driven decision making and supporting our Digital, Data and analytics platforms. 


  • Setting, managing and owning GWES annual and long-range capital and expense budgets for the site(s) 



Qualifications:



  • A minimum of a 2:1 University degree (or equivalent qualification) in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths), Business, Finance or Other Related discipline



Skills and Experience:



  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience


  • A keen interest in the Workplace and how it can enable new ways of working and positive business outcomes.


  • An Entrepreneurs mindset and understand Innovation value within the office space environment


  • High motivation with a positive attitude and problem-solving approach


  • High curiosity and an innovative mindset


  • Good analytical thinking and the ability to define problems, analyse data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and influence win-win outcomes.


  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of people.


  • Excellent communication skills- Ability to work with and clearly communicate with stakeholders of different level of seniority


  • The self-drive and confidence to work autonomously whilst also thriving from working productively with a cross-functional team


  • Strong prioritization, planning and organisational skills.


  • Fluency in German and English language both written and verbal

Approximately 1,000 people work collaboratively at the four Lucerne locations (Weystrasse, Citybay, Schachen and Kriens).
