You will work in interdisciplinary teams around the globe and support the business in driving innovation projects. While developing new ideas you always consider several perspectives. Who are the customers, what are their needs? How to create sustainable business opportunities and which technical elements are key to make it real? You know how to translate these insights into reality. Break-through innovation needs support along the value chain and you are able to empathize with internal and external stakeholders to drive long-term implementation of innovative solutions. Your tasks:
Support and lead teams in the execution of front-end innovation projects by leveraging innovation techniques such as Design Thinking, actively evaluate ideas through the resolution of critical uncertainties, and creation of customer-focused business cases
Implement our "Innovate Together" initiative and act as a role model for customer-centered innovation by motivating, inspiring and effectively influencing others
Foster an innovation mindset throughout the GF Organization involving all Business Units, Product Management, R&D or Sales and support the teams with the required skills
Evaluate solutions, by conducting customer research, checking technology feasibility as well as conducting market analysis to generate financial value for the organization
Transfer the know-how and support the Execution team to realize the identified business potential
Coaching of and co-Creation through innovation methodologies to realize the full potential of the organization
Your profile:
A Bachelor-/Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Social Science or equal
3 - 6 years of experience in an innovation or strategic department ideally in an industrial environment
Experience in the area of customer-centric Innovation, incl. Design Thinking, Business Model Design, Rapid Prototyping, Design Sprints and Agile methodologies
Experience with roll-out and establishment of a new Innovation Process from Idea Mining to Investigation including customer research to formulate business cases and reach a successful market launch
Innovation Project Lead function, especially strong skills in market research, stakeholder management, and project management
English and German language skills on a high professional level (technical and business content)
Willingness to continuously learn and stay curious
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
