Global Service & Support is the interface and support to our GF sales companies for the daily sales achievements and activities including projects or tenders, technical and price issues, claims, and follow-up of any complex matter involving more departments.
You are in permanent exchange with your colleagues, other departments, and our customers for all technical-sales, commercial and as well as administrative related requests.
Global Service & Support Manager Automation (m/f)
Switzerland, Schaffhausen
Your tasks:
Technical advice on the correct product selection, use of the products, and installation
Troubleshooting and technical adjustments to our products, which are installed at the customer's site if required
Creation and execution of technical product training for our employees and customers worldwide
Support for digital control and communication systems for valves and actuators
Configuration of valves and actuators with the Online Tools
Advice and support in the opening and processing of special installations
Support in the processing of complaints in the area of fittings/automation/signet
Support with logistical problems and replacement deliveries.
Support and, if necessary, carry out delivery audit inquiries and goods acceptance
Your profile:
A successfully completed technical apprenticeship followed by further education or a Bachelor-/Master's degree with a specialization (mechanical, electrics, electronics, e.g)
4 – 6 years' experience in on-site troubleshooting and in technical adjustments ideally in the chemical process technology or water treatment industry
English and German language skills must be on a high professional level
Experience in pneumatic and electrical drives would be an asset
Experience in device interfaces such as Profibus, EtherCat, Profinet, and IO-Link would be helpful
Sound knowledge of the most important applications such as MS Office, SAP, and other office systems
A high level of commitment and quick perception
Accustomed to responsible, independent, and structured work
