10+ years overall experience within relevant field ideally in FMCG/CPG and Strategic Consulting 

Position Summary

In this position you will collaborate with the SBU Nutrition Leadership Team (LT) on defining and establishing its strategy (vision, internal growth building blocks, required enablers, M&A).  You will also act as a primary point of contact for the Group Portfolio Strategy for all Nutrition-category specific questions and provide general support to the SBU LT.

A day in the life of a Strategy Development Manager

 



  • Lead the preparation of Nutrition strategic papers and conceptualize the strategic priorities and its underlying activities for a 4-year strategic plan 

  • Actively contribute and participate in global M&A projects from a business/value creation standpoint and act as the single point of contact for Nestlé M&A, legal teams and external advisors

  • Support the annual strategic planning process for the Nutrition category and provide feedback together with the SBU Business Controller on the 4-year plan to the Zones and the Nutrition Leadership Team 

  • Collaborate with the SBU Teams on cross-functional projects bringing in a strategic and externally-connected mindset and methodologies

  • Facilitate access to SBU data and intentions for further processing by the Group Portfolio Strategy

What will make you successful

 



  • BA/BS degree in Business/Finance/Economics or any BA/BS degree + MBA or similar on-the-job experience

  • 10+ years overall experience in relevant field ideally in FMCG/CPG complemented by experience in Strategic Consulting 

  • Exposure to large matrix organization, strong business acumen and ability to think in terms of value creation

  • First experience in M&A (due-diligence, integration, valuation, business cases) and knowledge of pre-processing and analyzing consumer driven data (trends, market shares..)

  • Used to delivering results and influence others in a transversal manner, outside of a hierarchical framework
