Main Purpose of Job

Support Visualase surgery cases across EMEA region, help to develop a regional expert team, provide relevant scientific and competitive updates and supporting relevant trainings



A Day in the Life

Main responsibilities include: 



  • Support the organization and EMEA cranial therapies organization to achieve business objectives.

  • Support VISUALASE surgery cases throughout the whole region: Support VISUALASE work-station, laser applicator, and software. Set-up and operation of communication interface between VISUALASE and MRI-imaging machine on-site

  • Ensure treating physician can rely on optimal MRI-images to perform MRI-guided laser ablation under surgical conditions

  • Acts as a key resource for the sales and regional marketing organizations in answering or getting answers to technical queries.

  • Ensure strategic partnership and alignment with other functional areas such as supply, clinical development, education, reimbursement and sales. Including providing relevant scientific and competitive updates and supporting relevant trainings

  • Support cranial therapy organization with surgical procedure expertise including at events such as congresses, VIP visits, trainings, advisory boards organized by Medtronic.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Engineering, medical or scientific degree

  • Associate degree program in radiology or neurosurgery technology

  • Minimum 1 year of technical field support in a stereotactic surgery room or MRI-imaging facility is a requirement

  • MRI Technical skills (MRI imaging, MRI-machine operation and computer software applications) and medical skills (brain anatomy, brain diseases Epilepsy and Brain tumors)  

  • A positive person with strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to their work.  Ability to work in a cross functional team and leading with influence

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English. Any other European language is an advantage.

  • Ability to plan and organize customer visits respectively case support in hospitals in multiple countries in the region

  • Flexible in nature and comfortable with extensive EU/ international travel (up to 90%)

  • Ability to be trained in the USA for 2-4 months at a time (eligible to obtain required visa respectively travel documents)
