Position Overview


The Senior Client Advisor provides tailored strategic, innovative advice/solutions to the Bank’s clients/prospective clients based on their expertise and deep knowledge of the relevant market, sector, products, regulation and knowledge of the Bank’s products and services. These solutions deliver superior investment opportunities to the clients in line with the client’s objectives and personal needs. The Senior Client Advisor manage/develop client relationships with the highest levels of management (e.g. C-Suite).They may assist and oversee the implementation/execution of the transaction to ensure that clients’ needs are addressed. They will partner with the Sales/Coverage and Origination teams, arrange and lead client meetings to provide holistic solutions to the Bank’s clients and help grow the Bank’s client base. They will participate in the review of due diligence analysis, reports and internal desk reports working closely with the Client Advisors.  Given the advisory nature of the roles, the Senior Client Advisor will ensure that the advice provided is in ‘good faith’ and always in the best interests of the client and in adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.


FUNCTION:              Substantially expand the existing International Private Banking client base through an effectively designed sales calling program based on expert knowledge of the market and the Private Bank’s products and services.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Marketing/Sales



  • Design and implement a marketing strategy aimed at growing current Private Banking relationships as well as cultivating new business

  • Develop a base of prospective clients through referrals and expand market share

  • Develop a sales and marketing plan for each client and prospect

  • Respond to client needs by maintaining a calling program, reviewing the plan periodically and monitoring new business results against assigned revenue objectives

  • Introduce product specialists to enhance client servicing when appropriate

  • Review client holdings relative to objectives and act as a trusted financial advisor by presenting diversified strategies utilizing the full array of Private Banking products and services

  • Cross-sell other products and services offered by the Bank (i.e. Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Third Party products, etc.)

  • Ensure that current clients and prospects meet the Bank’s client suitability standards while adhering to all Bank policies and procedures

  • Maintain ongoing high level of due diligence on all clients and prospects

  • Open and close accounts ensuring that the proper documentation has been obtained


Profitability



  • Participate in Goal Setting process to ensure that financial goals are achievable

  • Manage annual asset, revenue, and expense budget to ensure that financial targets are met

  • Cultivate client relationships and proactively find solutions to meet client financial needs and objectives

  • Maintain and improve profitability of existing client relationships


Service



  • Maintain ongoing client satisfaction

  • Maintain Private Banking standards for Service Quality

  • Identify client issues and escalate to management as appropriate

  • Provide constructive feedback to appropriate product, service, and operational areas

  • Establish and maintain open lines of communications with all areas of the bank


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS



  • Fluent in English

  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments and markets

  • Strong sales and marketing abilities

  • Able to work with a culturally diverse workforce and client base

  • Strong presentation and communication skills at all levels

  • Entrepreneurial approach with excellent problem solving skills

  • In depth knowledge of all the Private Bank’s products and services including the credit policies, guidelines and procedures

  • Complete understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements in marketing the Private Bank’s products and services


EXPERIENCE:



  • 10 to 15 years of Financial Services experience covering UHNW clients.

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.
