Job description

Recent connected devices and smartwatches have an interactive Human-Machine Interface (HMI). Being equipped with high quality displays, touchscreens and robust premium glasses, the customer experience of today’s electronic devices is determined by the quality of these core components.

To strengthen our Design team, we are looking for a technology driven candidate, to support the development, implementation and industrialization of cutting-edge electronic displays, touch sensors, and covers as:

Display & Touch Innovation Engineer

Main responsibilities: 

• Development of display modules for customer projects:
  
  
  
  • alignment with the customer on his needs
  
  
  • internal development of the display module: technology concept definition, specification creation for displays, touch sensors, glasses
  
  
  • development of these components with suppliers (internal or external)
  
  


• Steer and monitor the supplier with respect to the project planning


• Communication with customers and suppliers


• Feed the know-how database and grow the industry network, with focus on innovation and supply base


• Successfully impact our portfolio on technology and device concepts, visit of fairs and conferences

Profile

• Academic background in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical


• Engineering, Optics, Physics (Master’s degree or equivalent)


• Experience with display technologies: LCD, AMOLED, LEDs and related products


• High interest in HMI technologies: display, touch, gestures, optics


• Experiences with touch sensor technologies an advantage


• Experiences in mechanical design an advantage


• Professional experience on these technologies and devices an advantage


• Motivated personality, driven on innovation


• Team player and open to act in a global network (close interaction and collaboration with the development and industrialization teams)


• Knowledge of development environments such as Autocad or Catia, Labview an advantage
