As part of the Novartis Pharma Schweiz medical team, your role as Medical Scientific Liaison in the Immunology, Hepatology & Dermatology (IHD) field is key in respect to external partner management, medical communication and execution of scientific projects in alignment with our scientific strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
• Engage with Medical Experts (MEs) to educate on medical/scientific information
• Ensure appropriate identification/mapping of MEs/ Key Accounts including identification of opportunities to involve MEs when a specific medical need is identified to provide support
• Develop and execute ME engagement plans to effectively prioritize and strategically engage MEs aligned with country strategy
• Respond to unsolicited requests for information from MEs
• Inform and shape medical strategy by collecting impactful insights from MEs
• Support Novartis clinical research programs, optimize trial execution and provide scientific educational support to potential and actual study sites in collaboration with clinical operations
• Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) process upon investigator request -Serve as a medical resource to field matrix colleagues
Minimum requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
• MD, PharmD, Pharmacist, PhD and other life sciences with proven medical/ technical background
• Proficient in English and German (oral and written); Italian very good knowledge
• Good leadership, management and planning skills, good analytical skills and understanding of marketing principles and strategies
• State of the art knowledge in scientific area, Pharma experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of drug development, GCP and local regulations
