To support the Ibex Development Services, we are looking for an experienced laboratory technician in the field of mammalian cell culture development. For this position, you will interact with small cross-disciplinary teams, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art processes.
Key responsibilities:
Experimental work: execute experimental lab work according to defined expectations and schedule. Generate and collect high quality data. Collaborate with individual scientists and lab technicians.
Lab management: perform the evaluation, maintenance and qualification of lab equipment. Prepare working instructions for lab equipment. Ensure appropriate maintenance of the workplace. Order raw materials and consumables as per project needs. Share and implement best practices for lab and equipment management.
Training: provide support to training activities in the area of expertise.
Key requirements:
Apprenticeship in Biotechnology, Biology or Chemistry
Mammalian Cell Culture: Experience with CHO, Transfections, FACS, AMBR15, Stirred tank bioreactors.
Ability to work in a team and organize work
Significant experience within the industry
Good knowledge of English or German and basic knowledge of the other language would be desired.
