 Job title: Junior Digital Account Manager/Digital Account Manager (dependent on experience)


Reporting to: Account Director



Role context:


The Digital Account Manager is an important role within Wavemaker Client Solutions team, responsible for supporting the Account Director on media channel planning and activation.


The role includes implementation & optimisation across a suite of biddable channels, as well as media buying responsibilities in the area of invoice control management, related to the media buys.


This role will give mid-level media activation practitioners the opportunity to further refine and develop the craft in a fast paced, dynamic agency environment, all while working on an exciting and innovative Global Tech Brand.  The account offers a strong opportunity to innovate and build expertise across a wide range of digital channels, with the clients open to testing and learning from new platforms, audiences and tactics.



Core responsibilities:



  • Acting as the key client contact to ensure that strategic directives are followed, and that work is delivered on time and it exceeds client expectations.

  • Managing platform-based activities across activation, strategies, optimisations and tactics.

  • Working with the Account Director on planning and forecasting new projects and campaigns, with focus on meeting client’s KPIs and performance targets.

  • Responsible for the day to day QA process across all media activation, minimizing error and risk and ensuring consistent and accurate adherence to process.

  • Leading the delivery of client reporting of media performance (BAU and campaign specific), ensuring timely, insightful, performance focused analysis and actionable insights.

  • Accurate management of budgets by adhering to the Wavemaker finance processes.

  • Assisting key stakeholders (internally and externally) with any requests for insight or data they may have.

  • Winning key stakeholders trust (internally and externally) through consistent performance, proactive management and by developing an in-depth understanding of the client’s business: economic environment, customers and competitors.



Required skills / experience:



  • Hands-on experience and understanding of major social platforms; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.

  • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in executing in-platform biddable campaigns, preferably within a media agency.

  • In-platform based reporting of results, and interpretation of data

  • All academic backgrounds will be considered – qualifications in maths, data, economics, business, media of interest.

  • Professional digital media/advertising qualifications will be of an advantage.

  • Knowledge of new/emerging social platforms is also an advantage.

  • Ability to comfortably manage large-scale campaigns and deal with multiple stakeholders.

  • Highly organised, project management and coordination skills.

  • Strong client services skills.

  • Analytically minded with excellent attention to detail when handling large data sets.

  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to automate tasks to save time.

  • The role is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Therefore French language is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
