For our Lugano Branch (Switzerland) we are searching for professionals to be included in our organization. In particular, we are looking for a Business Analyst (w/m) with experience in the Financial Services area and a strong background in a data warehouse related IT evironment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• collaborate with a high-performing and forward-focused team, Product Ownership and Stakeholder community


• engage with colleagues at all levels to meet business requirements


• translate business requirements into technical documentation


• collaborate with development team to drive delivery within an Agile framework


• conduct as-is analysis, to-be impact analysis as well as front to back analysis


• contribute to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards


• identify opportunities to improve our clients processes


• provide 3rd level support to investigate production problems

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, related disciplines or equivalent experience


• > 4 years experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst preferably in the Financial Services sector


• technical experience with analytical databases (OLAP) like Oracle or DB2


• strong background in SQL and experience with object oriented programming languages like Python is an asset


• inquisitive, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs


• excellent written and verbal communication skills


• high social competence in interdisciplinary teams


• very good command of spoken and written English (minimum level C1), additional languages (German or/and Italien) would be an asset
