  • Support CRO Parent Senior Risk Manager in providing independent risk oversight and supporting the company with effective and efficient risk management.

  • Coordinate the regular portfolio reviews to identify, inventory and assess the risks of Parent Company

  • Support the Risk Appetite setting process and monitor ERM risk limits (e.g. capital limits) and ensure an appropriate response to any breach.

  • Support the execution of the Enterprise-Wide Stress Tests and ensure that the enterprise stress tests applied to the entity are appropriate and adapted to the risks identified during the inventory. When appropriate establish risk controls against the stress test and in collaboration with the Market Risk team and Counterparty Credit Risk team monitor the risk controls.

  • Support the Head of the function with the preparation work for regulatory reviews and other investigations performed by the regulators.

  • Document CRO Parent risk policies and ensure they remain up to date.

  • Acting as the central point of contact for all risk-related regulatory queries for Parent Company. This includes organizing meetings with Regulators, organizing agendas, putting together briefing materials for senior management prior to meetings, preparing presentations for Regulators, tracking extraordinary regulatory dedications, keeping senior management updated on key regulatory issues.

You Offer

 

  • Completed Master’s degree combined with at least 5 years of financial sector experience, preferably in a risk management or audit role in an investment or large commercial bank, accountancy/consultancy firm or regulator.

  • Knowledge of the risk-related regulatory framework and of core risk management approaches and measurement techniques.

  • Capacity to deliver projects with efficiency and within timelines. Sometimes, the candidate will have to work under pressure and will have to have experience with dealing with stress. For the first few years, the role will be involved in large-scale projects as the entity is expanding its portfolio and spectrum of activities.

  • Good organization and coordination skills and ability to challenge quality/consistency of documents.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to produce high quality, accurate work, under pressure in a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.

  • Can pick up new concepts quickly, analyse implications and make recommendations.

  • Strong communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively, particularly across different cultures and when working remotely.

  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written); any other market language skills would be an advantage in order to collaborate with different stakeholders

  • An empathetic and positive personality with a solution oriented ability and can-do attitude
