Deputy Head of Single Seater Technical Matters 

Reporting to the Head of Single Seater Technical Matters, and in collaboration with him, the successful candidate will Works for a variety of technical areas: Compliance with regulations ; New regulations ; Medium and long term strategy ; Communication with teams

The candidate must be prepared to travel at least 15 races per year.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of certain meetings involving the teams


• Working on future strategy and future regulations


• Communication with the teams for queries, legality issues, etc.


• Management of the group and oversight of certain individual people, projects or functions


• Policing and future direction of Technical Regulations for the other categories in the Single Seater ladder (F2, F3, F4, etc.)

PROFILE:

• Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering Degree


• At least 10 years experience in Formula 1 as a Chief Designer or Technical Director level, or equivalent


• F1 car design and trackside environment experience


• Good knowledge of the complete Formula 1 car


• Understanding of current practices and regulations


• Microsoft Office and Data management tools ; CAD knowledge (preferably CATIA)


• Native or fluent English


• High level of honesty, sense of duty, fairness and integrity


• Organisation skills ; detailed and process oriented


• Positive attitude and be ability to work under pressure


• High sense of responsibility and commitment


• Willingness to travel extensively
