Senior Business Analyst

As Senior Business Analyst, you will directly report to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis Taste & Wellbeing (T&W) and you will join our global T&W  Division Controlling team in Kemptthal. 


You will contribute to the performance of our division and this includes that you will support business analysis and financial planning activities and improving systems and processes within the extended Controlling Community.


 


You will:


 



  • System Strategy and development:
    You will work with the Head of FP&A to guide the future set up of all reporting, planning and analytical tools used within the Division. As such you are the principle interface to the IT Department and to the Shared Service Reporting Center. In IT projects to improve the Controlling systems landscape you represent the T&W division. You lead the preparation of the requirements for changes to the System or overall Architecture, you participate throughout the entire process and assure solid handover of the final solution. You are the driving force behind the integration of acquisitions into the reporting landscape, same applies to the representation of structural and organisational changes within the division.
     

  • Monthly closing:
    You will support the monthly closing process by testing the validity of the system results before the closing of the period. Moreover you will ensure and improve the quality of the monthly closing for Sales and Margins. You will also improve the system landscape and initiate smaller changes and corrections (change requests) and manage escalation as well.
     

  • Report Design:
    According to the need of the business entities (Business Units, Regions, and multiple Departments) you will design new reports and KPIs . You will establish the delivery method and validate with shared service reporting center the build, test and final delivery of the report.
     

  • Ad Hoc Analysis:
    With Ad Hoc analysis you will support the Divisional leadership. Last but not least you will ensure back-up of other analysts.

You have:
 



  • Master’s degree in Economics, Business or a technical / mathematical degree ;

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical role with IT relationship, in the Fragrance & Flavours, Food or Chemical industry (international role)

  • Experienced in business analysis

  • At ease with Query design, Business Objects Analysis (BOA), Tableau, Webi and Databases

  • Advanced MS Excel (Macros) 

  • SAP knowledge

  • Able to work under tight deadlines and external pressure

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

  • Project Management experience an advantage

  • Process design experience an advantage

  • Customer and result oriented
