As a key part of our initiative to drive growth through increasing the value that clients gain from our information services, SIX Financial Information is  recruiting a leader for the newly formed Business Development and Innovation team, part of the Content and Product Management Group. The role will require you to lead a small group of experienced product and project managers and other specialists who are helping us shape our business in new areas such as alternative data, ESG and analytics.
As part of its Innovation mandate, the team also looks at new technologies such as Data Science and Cloud, and leads on inorganic options to drive us faster and further towards our strategic goals.

What You Will Do

• Identify and bring to market compelling propositions that enable us to grow and expand into new segments.


• Aligning with our strategy, define our approach in number of new areas – ESG and analytics being prime candidates.


• Nurture close relationships with clients, sales staff, suppliers and user communities to understand how to best leverage and develop the company's assets to generate differentiating value and tangible customer benefits


• Numeric and analytical ability will enable you to provide credible analysis of markets, product segments and target opportunities to allow the Leadership team to understand and evaluate as required


• Responsible for both leading and developing a team, making sure we have sufficient experienced resources focused on those product areas that require it, and having realistic plans in place to improve it where we do not

What You Bring

• At ease with financial planning, in particular building business plans and analyzing companies and their finances.


• Excellent written and spoken English, with fluent German and/or French as additional assets.


• Demonstrable track record of delivering successful product and service propositions and/or client-led solutions in financial markets.


• Experience in a relevant job role, including some element of strategic leadership.


• Some experience in strategy consulting, new technology innovation or M&A would be beneficial
