We are looking for a Design Transfer Engineer (m/f/d) to work with our expert supply chain team. Do you have a passion for Supply chain / Engineering ? Then we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll do



  • Provide leadership, detailed planning, program objectives and technical support for the introduction of new products, materials, processes, technologies & End of life (EOL)

  • Act as the liaison between Engineering, NPI and the shop floor (materials & manufacturing teams) on all part related changes to current and future products

  • Interface with all levels of workforce and management to achieve successful change implementation, new product introductions (NPI) & EOL

  • Ensure execution plan meet all customer and program commitments (in a timely, quality and cost conscious manner)

  • ECR/ECO review and promotion

  • New part set up, cost, BOM set up, and cost requests

  • New routing set up, change, and set up for WIP jobs



  • FAI set up and coordination

  • PHASE IN PHASE OUT

  • Coordinate with the materials manufacturing teams

  • Cost request workflow

  • Magic to Oracle interface

  • Make all BOM changes to Manufacturing WIP

  • Work with vendors on all communications and change notices



  • Support transfer of production from current site (Eysin) to the new facility nearby & support vertical integration activities

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of products (specifications), supply chain & production process work instructions and operates within them to ensure that a product conforms to its specifications




Who you are



  • High School diploma or equivalent (Mechanical or Material background)

  • Proven experience on project management & in the supply chain

  • Ideally a proven experience as Design Transfer Engineer & Transfer of production

  • Hands-on & Customer-focused person

  • Proven experience in influencing and driving change

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment (such as Medical Devices)
