The Role
Initially, you will be leading the development of the production facilities and its equipment. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Defining with the H55 Executive Team, the roadmap and plans to volume manufacturing
Developing an operations infrastructure and selection/development of the production equipment
Evaluate different alternatives in terms of processes technology, workflow infrastructure and tools to transition from a prototype manufacturing to volume production of aeronautic certified, highly reliable and cost-effective electric propulsion systems
Leading the execution of the roadmap and the development/transformation in supply chain management, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, quality and safety systems, as to be consistent with projected volumes over the next 3 to 5 years
Putting into place collaborative structures at all levels of the organization to ensure that all team members adhere to processes and relevant operational and organizational key business best practices with the paramount objective of maintaining superior quality
Introduce where necessary non-standard situations in order to keep progress moving forward
Experience
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an high level production engineer in technology focused industries such as automotive, electronics or aeronautics. Specifically, this includes:
Bachelor of Science in electric/electronics engineering degree required with advanced degree preferred
Minimum 15 years of experience in electric and electronic circuits production,
Success in implementing a new automatized production line
Experience with supply chain management, operations, procurement, safety, quality, failure analysis, production and documentation of IT systems
Comfortable in dealing with suppliers and contractors from a global supply chain
Demonstrated success in building a team, creating a “team” environment, bringing together diverse backgrounds and skill sets needed to deliver a highly performant and flexible operation
Experience in “6 Sigma” and “Lean Manufacturing”
Success in driving operational excellence in quality and safety, cost management and inventory and supply chain management
