Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

Engineering | Biel, Switzerland

Our leading edge IGBT gate driver technology helps energy to be generated, distributed and consumed more reliably and efficiently. We are passionate about power electronics, IGBTs / power devices and IC design. Do you share our enthusiasm? We would be glad to have you on board of our small design team located in Switzerland. Together we develop smart power functional blocks and complete ASICs from definition to series maturity, thereby enabling and supporting the development of economic, efficient, and demanding gate driver products.

Technical responsibilities include: 

• Circuit design, simulation, layout design/supervision/verifications, product characterization/release, and documentation.


• Job responsibilities involve the ability to communicate with all levels and other groups, and requires having good verbal and written communications skills. 


• Engineer must be interested in learning,  be a creative problem solver, innovate, be adaptable, and work either independently or in a small team. Thinking out of the box – great!

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Education: BSc/BEng required - MSc/PhD preferred with emphasis on Analog Integrated Circuit (IC) Design.


• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Analog IC Design, a good understanding of power semiconductors and their application would be an advantage. Ideally, you will already have developed several commercially successful analog and mixed-signal ICs in high-voltage CMOS or BCD / BiCMOS technologies.


• Relevant experience in (either) leading small teams, modelling/design of power semiconductors, implementing automotive functional safety concepts, or CAD administration would be an asset.
