Postdoctoral FellowDynamic phase contrast X-Ray Imaging of sound transmission in the human middle earYour tasksA Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF project has been recently lunched to investigate the transmission of sound from the tympanic membrane to the oval window in the human temporal bone dynamically.
The objectives of this Postdoctoral Fellow position are:
To establish the dynamic in-vitro acquisition protocol
Describe quantitatively the micromovements of the ossicular chain in healthy temporal bones thanks to dynamic phase contrast X-Ray imaging
Developing segmentation tools based on Machine Learning in view of statistical approach
Your profileYou must hold a PhD degree in Biomedical engineering or Physics. Experience in X-Ray tomography, data analysis and image processing are considered as an asset. Programming skills are considered as a positive plus. The working language is in English, a good level of spoken and written English is mandatory. You should enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, multinational research environment.
